The Center of Alternative and Traditional Medicine “AltMed” has been established on the basis of the Chair of Traditional Medicine of the National Institute of Health (Ministry of Health, Republic of Armenia). In the “AltMed” Center the patients are rendered medical aid by means of diagnostic and treatment methods of Alternative and Traditional Medicine, which are able not only to supplement modern pharmacological, physical and other curing methods but even to substitute for them, influencing the organism entirely and increasing the immunity. Integrating the ancient experience from Eastern folk medicine with the Western contemporary sciences, the “AltMed” Center is selecting the optimal combination of Traditional and Modern methods of Medicine. In the Center of Alternative and Traditional Medicine there is used the new elaboration of reflexotherapy, manual therapy, homeopathy, phytotherapy, naturopathy, psychotherapy, etc.
The efficiency of the treatment in the “AltMed” Center is provided by permanent monitoring of human health state and individually, differentially, pathogenically grounded principle of choice of the optimal combination on medicinal and non medicinal diverse methods of therapy with obligatory testing of the administered remedies and curative food-stuff.
